The Asbestos Awareness course aims to provide candidates with theoretical training to enable them to demonstrate a good level of asbestos awareness in order to protect themselves and those around them from the effects of exposure to asbestos.
Objectives of the Asbestos Awareness (Category A) Training:
By the end of the Asbestos Awareness course, candidates will be able to accurately identify common asbestos products and state where they may be found in buildings or the work place. Candidates will also be able to demonstrate by listing/explanation an understanding of the hazards, health risks and controls associated with the accidental disturbance of asbestos
